I haven’t posted any of the videos I said I would because I don’t have a video camera and have been trying to track one down to use.

Thank you for your patience 🙂

I am in the process of putting together some video clips that will give you an inside look into the supernatural that I experienced in Brazil. Stay posted…

Since you heard from me last, I have been to several different countries and today I am off for a short term trip to Santarem, Brazil where I will be setting out on an unusual adventure that is out of my comfort zone.

I will be going with a well-known organization in the Pentacostal/charismatic movement.  Their focus is on equipping people to move in their spiritual gifts as a part of revealing the reality of the Kingdom of God.  This trip’s primary goal is to work with the youth of Santarem, teaching and training them to walk more intimately and powerfully with the Lord to be a light in their region. I don’t have much of any experience with the whole charismatic movement and honestly I am kinda leery of some things that I have seen in their practices. However, with that being said, I am going into this with an open mind and heart for what God has for me in this. I refuse to live a life that only looks at, invites, or involves what’s comfortable, or simply what I’m used to. I have friends that have told me stories of their experiences on trips with this organization and how they saw God show up and do some radical things, and how that has pushed them forward into the MORE that He has for them. Personally, I am not searching for another experience, or some radical stuff to happen – I have seen some pretty amazing things overseas – I am simply looking for more of HIM that overflows into the daily life I live here in good ol’ Santa Rosa, California. So, I’ll let you know what I discover.

PS. I am still going to the SRJC full time in pursuit of a degree in psychology and am working as a coach for clients who have brain injuries.

It’s been a long long time since I have posted on here, simply because of throwing myself into the swings of life and staying focused on why I am here.

Through the last semester of school at SRJC it has become vividly apparent that psychology is the route I will be taking, in order to be better equipped to serve others. So, I am continuing a full load at SRJC while working a full time job for a local neuro-psychologist who “just so happens” to follow God.

In a very unexpected way Dr. Rick Olcese (a local neuro-psychologist) was brought along my path and offered me a job coaching patients who have suffered brain injuries. I have really been en-joying getting to love on this guy Bob (real name not disclosed for confidentiality) I have been coaching for about 2 months now. Through his injury, his frontal lobe has been damaged and the usage of his memory has suffered from this. So I am in turn acting as his backup frontal lobe and prompting him when he needs help with initiating activities, staying on track, keeping a schedule that assists his memory and just building his tool kit so he can cope with the chalenges he faces.

I would appreciate your prayers as I am starting out on this journey and continually seeking to live in the spirit as I am with the different people I come in contact with.

I’ve been back in the states for about 2 months now and am still transitioning back into the American life. I think I was able to bring good closure to my time in Thailand and spend some good time with the people that are dear to me there.  The AMAZING gift that we were given before I left Thailand, was that Natt (the boy from the slums I was taking care of) finally got all the paperwork and permission needed to start school in October!  This is huge for him, because if he was unable to get this basic education, it would be very very difficult for him in the future.

As I am adjusting back, I am finding myself looking for deep connections here like the ones that I had built in Thailand. I feel like I am slowly but surely making those connections, but am struggling through at sometimes.

I am presently staying with some family/friends of mine and am looking at moving into a place with a solid guy (dont know who yet) within the next few months.

Right after I got back from Thailand, I saw it best for both Angelina and myself to not be in a romantic relationship with one another, so we broke up.

I was able to get an awesome car for super cheap!

I was hired at Memorial hospital in the housekeeping department this last week.

And will start school at Santa Rosa Junior Collage in mid August doing some general education and sociology.

Thank you so much for supporting me and standing with me throughout all the seasons changes. I really appreciate it. It makes a huge difference for me, so thank you 🙂
